| Just for Extra Fun! These only work if everybody plays! We will be doing a Bali Pop Exchange so pick a batik that you love, buy 1.2 metres of it and bring it with you to retreat. We will also be doing a block lotto. For each block you make and enter into the block lotto, you will receive a ticket to win a stack of blocks, remember, the more you make, the better your chances of winning and if alot are handed in, we may even have two winners! For this you will need two good quality cotton fabrics, two blue fabrics (not batiks) and one white on white fabric. When shopping for blue fabrics, try to think of blue as in sky or cornflowers or forget-me-nots, not turquoise, If you wish to precut your fabrics, for each block you will need: From the first blue fabric #1 cut 2 2.5" squares From the second blue fabric cut 2 2.5" squares plus 4 1.5" squares From the white on white fabric cut 4 1.5" by 4.5" rectangles Stack them in sets and bring them to retreat. |
